What We Do
Helping Orphans
It is astounding how many children end up being orphans due to parents that just don’t care or something g happened to them and the family can not care for them. The Nomvuzo Foundation aims to help these children.
Gender Based Violence
Gender Base Violence increase in numbers every month and it is not just the shortage of income that causes these events. But protecting the perpetrators and not reporting cases makes it worse. Nomvuzo Foundation encourages people to break the silence about any form of abuse.
Domestic Violence
Children are normally the targets when looking at domestic violence. The Nomvuzo Foundation opens up its arms to children in need that are neglected by their parents. We are recognized by the authorities.

Nomvuzo Foundation supports Women and children in need, as a GBV Activist in our community we’ve dealt with victims of domestic violence, GBV, Poverty, and orphans due to HIV/Aids and negligence, that’s whereby we’ve seen the need to help these people as no one cares about them, victims of shack fires as well.
Latest Our Awareness Projects
Awareness With SAPS
We have gathered together with our local police, and Dunoon Women for Gender Equity to send a strong message to the perpetrators of GBV and domestic violence, and in the community at large to report the cases of such Crime and for the community and police to work together and say NOT IN Our Name.
Awareness With Ilitha Labantu
Nomvuzo Foundation is recognized by other community support services like Ilitha Labantu in the fight against Gender-Based Violence, and stands together for the right cause in helping children and women.
Helping Families In Need
We support families by helping with food, clothing, and food in the event of shack fires. There are a lot of families who can not provide for their children. Nomvuzo Foundation aims to help where possible.
